The Mediterranean area has been defined as a hot-spot for climate change, with the Mediterranean Sea and its interactions with the atmosphere playing a fundamental role in its environmental conditions.

The Mediterranean SST Report is an initiative of the Meteorology and Climatology area of ​​the Mediterranean Centre for Environmental Studies ( CEAM ) to periodically review and update the climatology and trend of sea surface temperature (SST) in the Mediterranean basin.

This newsletter will be published seasonally and aims to disseminate the state of the art on Mediterranean TSS, as well as provide information to stakeholders and media interested in climate change. Likewise, our goal is to offer this newsletter as a meeting point for the scientific community involved in the study of Mediterranean SST.
